Plastics recycling is an indispensable link moving towards a more circular economy. Companies and authorities are increasingly faced with the challenges of better closing plastics material loops and by joining forces with recycling industry experts any opportunity can be better explored. On June 13th representatives from European institutions, Dutch politics, industry and regional authorities will gather at the ‘Plastics gone Circular’ congres. This congres will primarily focus on regulations, high quality collection and sorting, processing and applications of plastics recyclates. This NRK Recycling congres will be accessible free of charge yet pre-registration is required.
The program of Plastics gone circular will take a three angle approach. From European perspective the challenges around the recycling of plastics will be brought to the level of a circular city in the making. Then frontrunner companies will share with you the chances of using recyclates in high performance products. The program will end with a panel debate with members of the Dutch Tweede Kamer sharing their views and going into debate with the audience. Both international and national key speakers share their views with inspiring presentations.
The congres will take organised in Pakhuis De Zwijger in Amsterdam. This location is on walking distance from FabCity EuropebyPeople. NRK Recycling is also present at FabCity and jointly with partners will show a variety of colourful products made with recyclates at the Plastics Expo. When you are interested you are welcome to visit FabCity and the Plastics Expo prior to the congres.
The congres will start at 13.30 (registration as of 13.00) and is scheduled to take till 18.30.
As we have several international key speakers, the program will be done mainly in English. The panel discussion however will be in Dutch. There is no translation foreseen. For more information on the program, the speakers and for registration please visit the website.
